		<description>Hi John,

I have seen hurling before - kind of looks like Lacrosse played with a bat! It is very exciting, but looks very tough! Are you sure that he did not fracture his coccyx in december? I am wondering about that. The other option is that he has a bone bruise and that can linger for quite a while. When you say the injury was last December I am assuming you mean December 2009, not 2008. Does he feel discomfort on the bone or is it more back pain? The reason I ask is that with a blow tough enough to injure the coccyx, he could have also knocked his pelvis out of alignment which could give him back pain, hamstring strains, hip flexor strains, ab strains or groin strains. I am wondering about a thorough assessment by a good sport physiotherapist. If it is a bony issue, there is no exercise that will help it heal faster - just need to give it an optimal environment. I would look into the pelvic alignment issue.

Would love to get to Ireland someday, maybe I can come see your team train or play.
Cheers,
Maria</description>
