Does your off-season workout look like this?

Hope you are having a great week.  Mine is flying by, can’t believe it is Thursday already.  I have to tell you there are two really big events happening for me this summer that I have been looking forward to for over 6-months.  The first one will happen this Monday…the long awaited re-scheduled U2 show in Toronto.  The show was supposed to be last summer, but then Bono herniated a disc in his back and needed surgery – tour postponed – sadness ensued.  I did a video about it last year, you can check it out here – If I were Bono’s personal trainer. I have been a fan for a long time and have seen every tour since Joshua Tree in 1987 when my pal Binsk (her name is actually Tara) and I rode a school bus to Toronto to see them play Exhibition Stadium.  Magic!

Then the next big thing happens the following week – I am happy to be joining Jack O’Halloran and his Head2Head Elite Goalie Camp as the guest off-ice instructor at the Vancouver, BC camp. So any of you that are out in the Vancouver area, it would be cool if we could arrange a meet up sometime.  I actually would love to run a little workout/workshop for an hour or two on one of the days/evenings, but I don’t know about finding a suitable facility or even if you guys are interested.  It is the week of July 18th, so if you are interested in something like this, let me know and I will see what I can do.  Just a casual thing, a nice chance for me to meet more subscribers and talk training.  So post a comment below if you are interested.

Phase 4 off-ice goalie training program.

Okay, on to the business at hand.  I feel like you guys get a little neglected every summer (because you do), but I want to make sure you continue getting the content you need to be a top level goalie in your league, so today I am giving you something really special.  I am sharing an exact copy of a phase 4 workout that I created for one of my Elite Goalie Strength & Conditioning members. This is the off-ice goalie training program where I create individualized programs for those who are serious about taking the most direct route to their success.  The enrollment is over $2,000 and the program is currently full, so although you cannot get into the program, at least you can get a look at the type of program some of them are working on.

Remember, this program is custom designed for an individual based on their training history.  This workout is actually the fourth phase of their training program so they have built the foundation for this program over the three previous months.  Unfortunately, I cannot answer individual questions about modifying this routine to suit your needs.  I just wanted to give you a sample so you could compare it to your current routine.
