GRIT For Hockey Players: How To Develop It

I shot this video a couple weeks ago when I was in TO and then got busy with meetings and a conference and just forgot to post it for you.

If you have ever quit something or if you ever feel like it is just too much work to get to where you want to be. If you wish you could be more like those Navy SEALS who are unstoppable no matter what, then you will want to hear my lessons from the book Grit by Angela Duckworth.

I have told more of the athletes I train about this book in the last few months than any other book I have ever read.  I sent a copy to a few of my favourite NHL goalie coaches, I am a little bit obsessed with it 🙂

It explains why natural talent can be a curse, why top performers quit AND how an individual who isn’t the smartest or most talented can triumph.

Here is a rundown of just a few lessons I learned from it…

If you want to buy it, you can get it HERE.

Cheers,
M
