Hi Gang,
Most hockey goalies have ‘tweaked’ their groins at one time or another, but a serious groin strain can leave them out of play for months. There are a few off ice training strategies that hockey goalies can incorporate today to reduce the risk of groin strain. Start by adding these variations to your regular groin stretches. Then stay tuned for the next installment showing you some new strengthening and dynamic exercises to reduce your risk of groin strain next season.
Happy stretching!
Cheers,
Maria
