We have a winner!!

We have a winner!!! The winner of a free online hockey training product of their choice (well you can only chose one of my products) is E. Arvold! Congratulations E. Arvold – you should have already received an email from me telling you how to proceed.
Thank you for all of your responses – I was a little overwhelmed with the number I received so I have not even read them all through yet, but from what I have read, I think I am on the right track with my new product – although I am going to make a couple modifications based on your great suggestions. I will give you more details about the product once I get closer to the release date. My goal is to release this product by the end of September 2010. Now that I have said it, the pressure is ON!!
Once again, thank you so much for helping me to help you! Have a great weekend and stay tuned!
Cheers,
Maria
P.S. – Quite a few of you asked for a product that would be a detailed training program for goalies or a detailed specific program for skaters which would take into account the demands of hockey while improving the players stability, strength, speed and stamina. Well, those products exist already, so if that is what you are looking for and you want to get started you can check out Ultimate Goalie Training and the HockeyStrong Training System. For those of you who wanted an off-ice warm-up routine for goalies, you want to visit the Ultimate 12-Minute Warm-Up for Goalies.
Help me help you! Win a free training program!
Posted by: | CommentsI need your help! I am just about to start working on my next online product to help hockey players with their off ice training. I have a concept and an outline all set, but I want to check with you to make sure that I am going to deliver the info you want. So, here is the deal, would you please either email me – maria@revolutionconditioning.com – or post a comment below telling me your approximate age, your position and the type of information that would be the most helpful to you. For example -
- I am 37 years old and I coach a team of 13 year olds – I would love some off-ice routines that I could put them through to improve their performance and reduce their risk of injury. We have limited equipment.
- I am a 16 year old goalie and would like a specific program for in-season training that I can do at home in only 30-minutes per day.
- I am in my late 20′s and I am looking for a goalie specific program using only body weight exercises.
I hope you get the idea – be as specific as you can so I know if I am on the right track. In exchange for your help I will enter everyone’s name into a draw and at noon ET on Friday I will draw one name at random. If you are selected as the winner, then I will give you your pick of my off-ice hockey training programs at no charge. You can pick from the HockeyStrong Training System for skaters, the Ultimate Goalie Training System for goalies or the Ultimate 12-Minute Warm-Up for Goalies. Remember I need to have your suggestion by noon ET this Friday, July 16th.
Thanks again for your help.
Cheers,
Maria
PS – sorry for the multiple emails this week – but, tomorrow look for a proper off-ice training post showing you 3-ways to improve your hip function and just maybe reduce your back pain.
Million dollar blog post for hockey players.

If I had a dollar for every athlete or client who said, “I need to be faster”, “I need to lose 10lbs” or “I need to get in top shape this summer”, I would have thousands of dollars. Some athletes I train (and those who I keep around year after year) are the ones who take the steps to make those things happen. Becoming a better hockey player is actually pretty straight forward. Luckily there is not special hockey training gizmo that will give someone an advantage over you, basically you need to train consistently, with proper technique and sufficient intensity. Mix in recovery periods and you are set to go. If becoming a better hockey player is your true priority, you will do it – no problem. Read More→
